An All America City

Wray is a beautiful community located in Yuma County, Colorado. Wray is a small town, but boasts of its “big city amenities,” such as the new and modern medical facilities, excellent doctors and nurses, newly renovated schools, public library, museum, aquatics center, and public golf course to name a few. Wray, Colorado was named an “All America City” in 1993 by the National Civic League.

The Wray Chamber of Commerce puts on several events to boost the tourism for the area businesses in Wray, Colorado. Wray Daze, Quilts of the Plains, and the Greater Prairie Chicken Tours bring in thousands of people from around the world and bring in tens of thousands of dollars to our local economy. The Wray Chamber also serves as an information center for tourists and new residents.

    No, the Wray Chamber of Commerce is not a governmental entity.  It is a Colorado not-for-profit member organization and receives no funding from a government organization.

  • Does a business need to be located in the City of Wray to be a member of the Wray Chamber of Commerce?

    No. It doesn’t matter where the business is located. If you want to market to Northeastern Colorado, you should consider joining the Wray Chamber of Commerce.

  • How is The Chamber governed?

    The Chamber Board of Directors sets the policy and direction for the organization. Directors represent the diversity of Chamber members – including diversity in gender, size of business, industry, and geographic location.

    A President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer are elected for one-year terms from among the Board of Directors.

  • How many members does the Wray Chamber of Commerce have?

    The Wray Chamber of Commerce has approximately 130 member businesses in the Northeastern Colorado area.

    Approximately 85% of those members have 10 or fewer employees.

    Not at all. We do more than simply host business events. In fact, because our membership is so diverse, we offer a wide range of programs and services that meet the unique needs of our members.

    Some members prefer the networking aspect of the Chamber, while others like the advocacy and leadership we bring to the table through our our regional partnerships. All Chamber member businesses are listed in the online directory on our Website.
