We offer two tour packages per weekend over four weekends in March and April. Each tour includes an orientation the night before the tour. These are the weekends we offer our tour:

Space is limited! We can only accommodate 24 seats per tour…no exceptions. Registrations are accepted on a pre-paid, first-come/first-served basis. Payment must be received, in advance, to reserve a viewing seat. NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS!
**CHANGE** - Due to issues we have faced in previous years, for the 2010 tours the Wray Chamber of Commerce and East Yuma County Historical Society has decided to not include a hotel room in the package. This will give you the ability to stay at any local hotel of your choosing. Please note that wherever you choose to stay, whether it’s in Wray or outside of the Wray area, you MUST to be to the Wray Museum for your orientation the night before the tour and ALSO one half hour prior to departure the morning of your tour!! Unfortunately, if you do not make it we cannot wait. You will not be allowed to drive to the lek and will not receive a refund. No exceptions! So, please give yourselves plenty of extra time!

All transportation will be provided for the tour from the Wray Museum. No private vehicles are allowed at the lek. Time for viewing may vary & no one leaves the lek until the birds leave. Estimated time of return to Wray is 10:00 a.m. MST. Once we return to town, the Wray Museum will be open for you to go in, get some hot cider & learn a little more about Wray & Yuma County.
Dress for extreme cold, we will take the tour no matter the weather. Be prepared! There are NO bathrooms available at the lek; however there are bathrooms available at the breakfast site. Approximate time in the viewing trailer is 1½ hours. Cameras are allowed, but large tripods create problems in the viewing trailer and are discouraged.
Basic Tour Packages:
Registration begins Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Wray Museum.
Participants will meet at one half hour prior to departure at the Wray Museum for transportation to the lek and to the ranch-style breakfast. Approximate time of arrival back in Wray is about 10:00 a.m. MST on Saturday morning.
Cost of the Basic Tour is:

Special Tour Packages:
Registration begins Saturday evening at 4:30 p.m. MST at the Wray Museum. You will then be taken by bus to the Laird School for a steak dinner, orientation and entertainment. You will then be returned to your vehicles at the Museum.
Participants will meet at one half hour prior to departure at the Wray Museum for transportation to the lek and to the ranch-style breakfast. Approximate time of arrival back in Wray is about 10:00 a.m. MST on Sunday morning.
Cost of the Special Tour is:
$90 per person

You must attend the evening orientation program. Information will be presented during the program that you will not receive otherwise.
Departure times may vary. Most tours leave Wray between 4:00 a.m. & 5:00 a.m. MST. Exact departure time will be announced during the orientation program. A confirmation of your reservations and your receipt will be sent to you as soon as payment is confirmed.
